TEST FOR ALLERGIES
We offer the option of allergy testing for prospective owners. The Russian Blue’s soft, velvety coat sheds very little, and the breed naturally produces lower levels of the Fel d 1 protein - the most common cause of cat allergies. While many people find them suitable even with mild sensitivities, we strongly recommend allergy testing if you are uncertain.

• Simply e-transfer $50.00 to info@northstar.com.
• The price includes shipping and handling within New Zealand and Australia.

• You’ll receive a tracking notification once your t-shirt is on its way.
Instructions for Using the T-Shirt Allergen Test:
1. When the t-shirt arrives in a sealed package, slowly open it on Day 1 and gently touch the t-shirt with your skin for 5 minutes.
2. Reseal the package and wait for any possible allergic reaction. If a reaction occurs, follow your standard allergy treatment.
3. On Day 2, remove the t-shirt from the sealed bag and wear it for 10 minutes. Then, reseal the t-shirt back into the package.
4. On Day 3, repeat Day 2’s process, but wear the t-shirt for 1 hour.
5. Continue increasing the amount of time you wear the t-shirt each day, always resealing it after use, up to Day 7.
By the end of Day 7, you should have a clear indication of whether you can comfortably and safely adopt a Russian Blue.
